QuickLIFT Fingerprint Tape Pads - NEW PRODUCT These 2” x 6” precut strips of fingerprint tape are provided in an easy to use pad. Simply grip the release tab and remove the tape one strip at a time, then apply to the latent print. Latent prints may then be lifted and tape strips applied to an appropriately sized backing card. 	Forensic Acrylic Mirror - NEW PRODUCT This acrylic mirror is intended for use with a high-intensity light source during the detection of shoe impression evidence at the crime scene. Position the mirror standing on the floor to be examined. Use a high-intensity light to create oblique illumination across the open floor. The path from the light-source to the mirror must be diagonal, at an angle of about 30 degrees in relation to the mirror surface. Aiming the light source directly into the mirror is not effective. Adjust the angle of the mirror and the light source until the impressions, if present, are visible in the mirror. The resulting visible impressions can be seen in the mirror, while they are still invisible on the floor surface. Using the mirror image as your guide, mark the toe and heel ends of the impression, two lasers are used in this demonstration (other markers may be used such as adhesive photo scales, permanent marker, etc.). Synthetic Blood & Spatter Blood Synthetic Blood was developed in order to fill a need to eliminate the possibility of pathogens originating from the use of human and non-human blood in the classroom or lab. Synthetic blood was formulated to mimic the gross chemical reactions to common chemical tests for blood such as Luminol and Phenolphthalein, and protein enhancement techniques such as Leuco-Crystal Violet or Amido Black.
